Hi Eduardo. I’m so glad you found my site and that you like the resources here. I appreciate you taking the time to say thanks, and it means a lot. If you are interested in my book, I will send you an email with more information. It’s a fun book for kids.
You are a creative teacher! I would be interested in seeing your book as I teach about 15 students. I am inspiring my “non-practicing” ones with improv. and freeing up some of my more advanced ones. I have students from 6 years to 15 years and a few beginner adults as well. Do you have suggestions as to which of your materials would be the best place to start? Also, in one of your videos you mentioned cartoon characters to introduce scales and I wondered which book that would be in. Thanks!
Hi Laurie! Thanks for your kind comment and for your questions. I will email you the info about the book and also answer your questions. For your older students though the improv activities under the “Improv” tab at the top of my website are a fun place to start. The cartoon characters are in my piano scales book. It’s fun to see the kids get excited about learning the scale that goes with their favorite picture. We’ll get to the D scale, for example, and they’ll say “Yes! I’ve been waiting for this one! It’s almost hilarious how such a small thing can have such a big impact on student attitude. Anywho, I’ll get your email sent and can answer the rest of your questions there.

I’m loving your site. I’ve been out of touch, having played piano for 9 years as a young child, but starting to think about teaching my own children. This site is giving me inspiration to pick piano back up and try to teach myself all over, and include my kids! Could you help provide more info about the book you were working on? Is it available for purchase?
